I just finished the MSF course myself. Checked out several bikes including the rebel, suzuki 250, shadow vlx etc. I finally settled on an all black 99 savage. I have put 50+ miles in the last couple days and had no problems handling the wt. (356 lbs.). For a bike that is 50 lbs. more than the Rebel I think it offers a lot more. I'm a novice to bikes so only time will tell if I got a good buy. This board definitely helps my confidence. I have experienced all its quirks, it backfires and pops when I come to a halt.
